Building Career Opportunities: Translation Empire At University Job Fairs

Translation Empire took up the opportunity of being a part of several university job fairs throughout Pakistan during the past 12 months. Our team has been on the ground meeting bright, ambitious students eager to explore opportunities in the expanding translation and interpretation industry, starting at Foundation University (February 26, 2025), followed by TMUC University (March 2025), NUML University (May 21st, 2025), and Comsats University (May 2025).

We have been able to directly engage with the upcoming generation of linguists, cultural mediators, and professionals who will propel innovation in language services through these fairs, in addition to introducing Translation Empire’s mission.

Engaging the Next Generation of Professionals

Our representatives arrived at each fair with a specific goal in mind: to interact with students, especially those in graduating batches, who are prepared to take on fulfilling positions in the job market.

The reaction was overwhelmingly favourable. The special fusion of professional development, cultural exposure, and career advancement that Translation Empire provides attracted a lot of students. Our aim was  to inform students about the nature of work in the  translation industry, how it relates to international communication, and why it is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting career paths for multilingual graduates, in contrast to organisations that only distribute flyers or advertise openings.

Highlights from the Universities

  • • Foundation University (February 26, 2025): The tone for the year was established by our first fair. Students were eager to learn about the week-long training workshop we provide before full-time employment, and the Translation Empire booth attracted constant attention throughout the day. A lot of people mentioned that this training made them feel more confident, something that other recruiters had not stressed.
  • • TMUC University (March 2025): A wide range of students, many from media and international relations programs, were drawn to TMUC. The notion that language is not only a skill but also a career enabler that opens doors to opportunities around the world struck a chord with these students.
  • NUML University (May 21, 2025): Translation Empire was a perfect fit for NUML because of its curriculum’s emphasis on language. Here, our group made contact with pupils who had received multilingual instruction. Their interest in our CSR and linguist recruiter tracks served as further evidence of Translation Empire’s efforts to close the knowledge gap between academia and business.
  • Comsats University: The high point of our campus tours, May 2025. There was a long queue of eager graduates waiting to speak with our recruiters, so the turnout was better than expected. Students were especially excited about the prospect of immediate hiring opportunities after structured training, and many commented that visiting employers rarely showed this kind of dedication to staff development.

What Sets Translation Empire Apart

A common theme throughout all of the fairs was how Translation Empire’s hiring process differed from that of other companies. Our process is based on training, mentorship, and long-term growth, whereas most businesses only concentrate on filling openings.

This unique hiring process ensures high hiring rate after training and workers who feel ready to take up their roles and speak for themselves. Furthermore, enticing performance-based bonuses guarantee that driven people receive recognition for their diligence and commitment.

Looking Ahead

Our involvement in these fairs demonstrates Translation Empire’s conviction that young, driven talent holds the key to the language services sector’s future. In addition to hiring, we are forming careers and cultivating a workforce that can prosper in a globalised economy by investing in graduating students and providing them with the resources they need to succeed.

Our determination to increase these outreach initiatives has only been bolstered by the positive energy we observed at Comsats, Foundation, TMUC, and NUML. Every time we shake hands, exchange resumes, and respond to enquiries, we are reminded that the aspirations of the young people we interact with are central to the expansion of Translation Empire.

Final Thoughts

For us, the 2025 job fair cycle has been more than just recruitment occasions; they have been discussions about growth, culture, and opportunity. We anticipate adding many more graduates to the Translation Empire family as we continue to enrol in more universities, enabling them to pursue fulfilling careers in the translation and interpretation sector.

Translation Empire does not just offer jobs, we offer journeys.
