Translation Empire PK x E-Shaafi | Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025
October at Translation Empire PK wasn’t just another month on the calendar; it was a month full of meaning, understanding, and deep talks.
In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our team came together for a meaningful project called Pinktober: Raising Awareness, Inspiring Action. The event, which was put on with the help of E-Shaafi, turned our office into a place of learning, care, and support. It reminded everyone that small steps can make a big difference when it comes to health and early detection.
A Morning of Learning and Light
The main event was an interactive seminar led by Dr. Maria. Everyone in the room felt a deep connection to her warm presence and practical advice. She talked about things that people don’t usually talk about, like how important it is to look at yourself and get regular screenings, and the early signs that women should never ignore.
Her words were both kind and clear: “Awareness isn’t just knowing; it’s caring enough to do something.”
What started as an educational talk quickly turned into a free-flowing conversation. People who were there talked about their fears, hopes, and experiences, which helped them feel like they were part of a community based on empathy and understanding.

Conversations That Empowered Action
The session naturally led to a Q&A part, where employees asked thoughtful, and sometimes very personal, questions. Dr. Maria paid close attention and gave useful tips on how to stay healthy, how to prevent illness, and how to keep your mind healthy.
The conversation reminded everyone that being aware of health issues is more than just numbers; it’s about people, families, and the future.
Turning Awareness Into Action
To make the session even more meaningful, the event had thoughtful touches that linked learning to doing:
• All participants got certificates of attendance as a way to thank them for being aware.
• 🩺 Free one-on-one meetings with Dr. Maria gave people personalised medical advice and help.
These small but important acts made workers feel valued and supported, and they changed the event from a talk into a life-changing experience.

A Day That Touched Hearts
The Translation Empire team’s response was very heartfelt and motivating. Many employees said that this was one of the most meaningful and memorable wellness sessions they had ever been to. They said this was true not only because of the useful information shared, but also because of the mood it created.
There was a quiet but strong sense of unity in the room during the whole seminar. People nodded, smiled, and sometimes looked at each other as Dr. Maria spoke. This meant a lot to them. The talk didn’t feel cold or distant; it felt personal, comforting, and empowering.
The thing that stood out to me the most was how the event made the women on our team feel safe and supported. They liked being able to talk about health issues without fear of being judged or embarrassed. For a lot of people, this was the first time they could talk openly about women’s health issues at work and know that their opinions would be heard and respected.
Several people who were there thanked Translation Empire for creating a work environment that values empathy and inclusion. They said that the Pinktober session did more than just raise awareness; it also helped people feel more confident, got people talking honestly, and reminded everyone that taking care of yourself is a strength, not a weakness.
The event reminded us that our organisation stands for both professional growth and personal health, not just the numbers and facts. It reminded us that a healthy workplace isn’t just about meeting deadlines and getting things done; it’s also about how much it cares about the people who work there.
We at Translation Empire think that when our employees feel supported in mind, body, and heart, they bring that same energy of compassion and understanding to everything they do.
About Our Partner – E-Shaafi
Working with E-Shaafi made the event much better. E-Shaafi is a trusted digital healthcare platform that wants to make high-quality healthcare available and affordable for both people and businesses. E-Shaafi connects people with certified doctors and virtual health services, making expert medical advice available to everyone. This fills in gaps in knowledge, access, and preventive care.
Translation Empire PK worked with E-Shaafi on this project to show that they believe that everyone should be able to be healthy and that technology can help people find out about health problems early and take charge of their own health.
Standing Together for a Greater Cause
“Together, we can make a difference” was the message that rang out as the session came to an end.
Translation Empire PK showed its support for causes that matter to health, awareness, and the strength of women everywhere during Pinktober.
No two stories are the same. Every trip is important. And at Translation Empire, we are all in this together. We are proud to wear pink, raise awareness, and get people to act.
